Penistone Agricultural Show is run totally by volunteers – from a 60-strong Committee who work on the show on a rolling 12-month basis, to the 200+ helpers who come on show day as well as those who take time off work to help build the show the week before. Without the continued dedication of all of these volunteers, the show wouldn’t happen.
The Show Committee is extremely proud of its heritage and its local community. As a Charity, our aim is to support our agricultural heritage as well as local community groups, worthy causes and charities by donating some of the money raised from the show itself to these different groups.
