Our last show in 2019 was absolutely fantastic and we are planning another great show for you all in 2021.
2020 was a very difficult year for everybody and it was such a shame that we couldn’t hold our show – just like many, many other events. 2021 will be a show to celebrate farming, food and agriculture.
The show will open from 8am and will close at dusk, around 6pm. The Penistone Agricultural Show really does have something for everybody to enjoy. From animals and farm machinery, through to food demonstrations, crafts, music and children’s activities in our discovery hubs.
Whilst we may be coming out of Lockdown after the pandemic, we are very mindful of the health and safety of our visitors and therefore we will be implementing measures to ensure that everybody feels safe on the day.
These measures include:
Limiting visitor numbers, adapting the show to use as much of the outdoor space as possible, changing layouts to avoid pinch points, sanitiser points, extra security to disperse any crowding, one-way systems.
We are working closely with Barnsley Council at all times.
We are so looking forward to be able to put our show on again for you all to enjoy.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday 11th September.
