To celebrate 150 years of Penistone Agricultural Show, we are encouraging groups, clubs and organisations to make a scarecrow for Show Day. The theme is anything to do with farming.
This is a fun activity, where imagination can run wild, in order to create a colourful, imaginative and imposing adult-sized scarecrow, to display at our show and be seen and admired by THOUSANDS of people.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Closing date for entry is Friday 1st September
- Scarecrows will be allocated a plot on the show field and will need to be in place by 19:00 on Thursday 7th September.
- Entries to be via the online form below
- After the show, the group / club / organisation must be responsibile for removing the scarecrow after 17:00
- Judging will be by the Mayor of Penistone
