Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B,C, & D.
Stallion Mare or Gelding
The Fell Pony Society will award a Special Breed Rosette to the Best Fell Pony in class 46. Owners of the winning pony to be a member of the FPS. Membership cards to be produced in the ring. Non registered Fell ponies may also enter this class
The winners of classes 42 & 43 will be presented with a Plaque kindly presented in memory of Barbara Judge
The Ben Goldthorpe Trophy will be presented to the highest placed local pony and rider (i.e. within 5 miles of Penistone Church).
Championship for 1st & 2nd Prize Winners from classes 42 – 46 compete for – The Beachcomber Trophy. Riders of small breed stallions to have attained their 12th birthday by Show day. Riders of large breed stallions to have attained their 14th birthday by Show day.
The Champion will receive a voucher for Argo Meadow Cubes, courtesy of Argo Feeds Limited.
