We have been having problems with algae in our pond so we have of just got a supply of three different snails so as to control the algae. The varieties are Ramshorn, Trapdoor and Stagnalis snails. Molluscs eat algae and add oxygen, helping to preserve the natural balance of a pond. Hopefully once the snails get established they will be able to get rid of lots of the algae.
Our schedules for the show are now available and so hopefully you will see these out and about. We’ve got some exciting new classes for you to enter this year!
